Each spring, the LSF group has the privilege of leading Concordia's worship service on what we affectionately call University Sunday. If possible, the Sunday after Easter is a favorite day for this endeavor so that the Pastor can have a sermon-less week and a Sunday in a pew after the rigors of Lent, Holy Week and Easter. Not only do the students choose and lead the music and the prayers, they also offer their own faith stories as the message. It is an inspiring service for the Concordia congregation, as they have the pleasure of seeing the future of the church in the dedication of these wonderful students. The group always celebrates with lunch out together afteward. A grand day!
